Antique Angelique

In the past I’ve been a London taxi driver, Knowledge of London examiner and a careers adviser. I started Antique Angelique following redundancy as a health & safety consultant. As a former careers adviser I figured I had the right skills, interests & attributes to become an antiques dealer.

After working from rented cabinets at antique centres I started stalling at fairs. I’ll let everyone know which fairs I’m doing, and I still have my cabinets at Banbury Antiques Centre (Cab O), Brackley Antiques Cellar (Cab 57) and at Click in Northampton.

My aim is to source quality antique silver, jewellery, ceramics & curios. Emphasis is on the quirky. I always have in stock a supply of Man Cave essentials – which are mainly available at the fairs.

If you’re wondering who Angelique is, it’s the business name of my cat.

I published a book about my experiences in the London cab trade in 2018: From Manor House Station to Gibson Square, and Back Again. I write magazine articles, and I’m writing a book about the antiques trade.
